Classroom without walls

I’m an author and course leader from Sweden, Dalarna who have inspired hundreds of teachers to dare to open the door and use the outdoor classroom just as well as the indoor one. My passion is to encourage teachers and students to use the foreign language as a tool for learning as well as for communication. There are plenty of opportunities available for using outdoor education in language teaching and to be active and use all the senses in the learning process makes classes fun and lead to long term knowledge as well as learning about the environment and sustainability!

Projects, talks and workshops in Sweden as well as abroad are of interest, in 2023 I’ve held appreciated workshops in Latvia and Lithuania. Welcome to contact me for more information, offers and ideas.

Books for teachers: Att lära in engelska ute 2 (To Learn English Outdoors) and Learning in the Outdoor Classroom – A Swedish Anthology of Activities which can be ordered both as a paperback but also as an e-book on www.outdoorteaching.com. The books are part of the series about Learning outdoors, created by teachers from the Swedish Nature Schools.
